Dr. K.G. Jose is our Senior Pastor at TLCA. He joined his service in August 2023.

Pastor Jose was born in Punthala, Chengannur, Kerala, India, to late K.C. George and Pennamma George. At the age of 12 he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior while remaining a member of Marthoma Church. He felt the strong hand of God, calling to serve the Lord and finally submitted at the age of seventeen.

Pastor Jose joined Faith Theological Seminary in 1980 and got baptized in the Holy Spirit during the first fasting and prayer in the Seminary. He continued B.D. studies at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune; M.Th. in United Theological College, Bangalore and Ph.D. at Serampore University in Old Testament. During the period of studies more emphasis was given to language studies in Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, and German. Pastor Jose began teaching ministry at Sharon Bible College, Tiruvalla and then the next nineteen years at Faith Theological Seminary, Manakala, where he functioned as Administrator and Principal. He also served as a Ph.D. guide under Serampore University.

The pastoral ministry began at the Assemblies of God Church, Tiruvalla (1992–1995), and then moved to Kerala Christian Assembly, Toronto (2010–2014); Philadelphia Full Gospel Church, Philadelphia (2014–2017) and Shalom IPC, Chicago (2017–2023). Pastor Jose regularly wrote articles in Good News Weekly, Trumpet, Kahalam, Shepherd’s Voice, Assemblies of God Messenger, Revive, Malayalam Study Bible, Malayalam Bible Encyclopedia, and is now involved in the new Malayalam Bible translation.

Pastor Jose is blessed with his wife Elizabeth Jose who also studied B.D. and M.Th. from Faith Theological Seminary and taught for six years at Faith Theological Seminary. They have a boy and girl, both married, living in St. Catharines, Canada.

Pastor Leon was born in Pondicherry, India and came to the United States when he was three. Pastor Leon has lived in Houston, TX for most of his life. Pastor Leon is currently engaged in his final year of Doctorate studies in ministry at The Kings Theological Seminary, a charismatic, evangelistic theological institution affiliated with Gateway Church in Southlake, TX. Pastor Leon has earned his Master’s degree at Philadelphia Biblical University in Langhorne, PA and his Bachelor’s from the University of Houston.

Pastor Leon has been heavily involved in international ministries for numerous years through television programs, evangelistic missions and outreach. He has been mentored and blessed by various honorable men of God. Pastor Leon has developed various skill sets through continued education, experience in various industries and training in multiple disciplines to prepare and equip both young and old to build the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Leon is divinely anointed in multiple capacities and carries an Apostolic Prophetic Blessing over his life. He is married to Jeena, and they have three daughters, Leah, Rebekah, and Grace. Pastor Leon engages theological truths with a pragmatic approach for real life application.
